Mudra for Savings Part I

Naran

Do the Vitality Mudra or Pran Mudra for savings. Thumb touching the little and ring fingers on both the hands.

If mind is in a solid container it will produce a sense of relaxation. Mind is here. Thought is no-where. The mind and thought are separated. The thinking is separated.  What else I can do? I can sleep. This Mudra can produce sleep also.

Other benefits of doing this mudra

Vitality, elimination, relaxation, rest, calmness, composure, affectionate, and motherliness.

Not to be shaken by other’s anger – when somebody else is shouting or is angry, be in this mudra which activates composure.

This mudra activates the life force – meeting point of Fire,  Earth and Water elements.

Blood flow is regulated. Blood clots are reduced and excreted, muscles are strengthened, immunity is improved and promotes good sleep.

When one is worried and restless, additionally keep the index and middle fingers at the base of the thumb, while the ring and little fingers are touching the tip of the thumb.

Physical – for eye sight, for Diabetes.

Beat the Cold

I have a severe cold with running nose.

Naran

Do LINGA Mudra (both hands clasped together, with left thumb in upright position) for 20 minutes. Then do SAFE and SECURE Mudra (thumb touching ring and little fingers on both the hands) for another 20 minutes.

I did as you suggested. I took rest for a while keeping in mind that while we sleep, our body does the necessary healing (as mentioned by Naran).

After waking up, I did the Mudras again for 15 minutes. I was alright (without any medication). Thanks.

Due to pollution, we get afflicted with cold.

The thick phlegm produced and deposited inside the lungs will be converted into liquid form by the Linga Mudra and will be sent to the Hara Chakra (the chakra that handles water element) by the Safe and Secure Mudra.

When I do this Varun Mudra I hardly can do it for 5 min, my hands are starting to hurt. Is there is a problem with the palms or it is a general water element`s problem?

Since there is no practice of Mudras, it happens.  Do it for some time. You will be ok in another fifteen days.

One will put on weight – only required weight.  If you think you are putting on weight, immediately follow the Mudra with Fire Mudra – place the ring finger at the base of the thumb.

Heal your kidneys when there is dryness

Naran

Nobody likes to scratch their hair, or itch in front of others. Invariably you feel dryness in the hair or in the place where you feel like itching. Dryness means lack of water element. 70% of our body contains water, which is maintained by kidneys. So if there is dryness, then it means the water level is below par or the kidneys are not functioning properly.

How to increase the water element in the body?

Mudra

Ring finger represents water element. Touch the tip of the thumb with ring finger on both the hands. This activates and normalizes water element within the body.

After 10 or 15 minutes, touch the place of dryness or itching for few minutes. Do it as and when you need.

Color

When the water is less, then it means Kidneys needs more blue color. So fill it up with blue color. Imagine blue color entering your body through your feet, from mother earth and filling up your kidneys, which is situated on the back spine, exactly behind the belly button.

Hands on healing

You can also touch that part (behind belly button) with both the hands, while bringing in blue color. If you find it difficult to keep your hands like this, keep a pillow behind your back, so that your hands feel less discomfort.

It is a good practice to keep the hands this way whether you imagine blue color or not, 10 a minutes a day to tone up your kidneys.

Chinese Mantra

The mantra to activate kidneys is “CHU” (pronounce it as “CHOOOO”). Simply chant the mantra along with a long exhale whenever you can. If you find it difficult to exhale after few times then chant the mantra alone.

You can keep the hands on kidneys while chanting the Chinese mantra.

What does water represents?

Relationships!!! So tone up, activate and normalize your relationships by doing the techniques above. 

No Pain No Anger

About a year ago, I suddenly developed toothache, before it came and went but I didn’t see the dentist then, I just postponed it. But this time it was plain unbearable. I tried using Anbesol, which is a pain reliever. It works effectively but not this time even though I applied more than prescribed :). Therefore, I called the local dentists, with a hand in my face of course, who asked me to come after a week. It was just frustrating.

I couldn’t hold this pain that long, had loads of work, if I take a break it will pile on me. So, I had to try something else, I asked my brother, whether he knew any Mudras for this tooth ache. He asked me to do Varun Mudra after consulting Naran S. Balakumar.

My brother also gave me some more advice from Naran. Not only I should do this Varun Mudra but also I should get rid of anger. When I was in school, they used to call me “Short Temper”, yes direct name at that :), because I used to get upset even for small and trivial things. But in hindsight, I feel it was bad as it just drives them away like a fire. Who would want to stand next to a raging fire that is anger?

Naran said if the right tooth portions ache then one is angry with a male, while the left tooth aches shows one is angry with a female. Most of the pain and illnesses are caused by emotions. Mind and body affect each other significantly. So, I stopped being angry totally and then I did this Varun Mudra.

Little finger represents water. And only water can put out the fire. Therefore, touch the tip of the thumb with tip of the little finger. Water will increase in the body and bring down the fire in the body – I mean fever.

This Mudra is basically used for reducing fever and colds, but it can also alleviate the pain. If you have fever you can also do this one. One of my friends did this few days ago, she said it worked.

Varun Mudra: Touch the tip of the little finger with the tip of the thumb. Do this in both hands.

It looked simple enough. So I did this for 10 to 15 minutes with normal breathing in and out. You won’t believe it. The pain was gone and it didn’t come back at all. Another friend tried this before and after she had a surgery, she said it worked. It can also control your anger.

Handle Fire with Varun Mudra

How Varun Mudra reduces pain? Fire is red, fire is fever, fire is inflammation and fire is pain because inflammation is expressed as pain (inflammation is red).

Fire is heat and inflammation is nothing but heat or pita. Water is cold and cooling. Fire also means anger. In a state of anger, one’s auric field becomes red and projects red.

75% of the body is water and when there is pain, the body is crying for water locally. When Varun Mudra is practised, water element is activated and the pain is reduced. In fact, it reduces anger also.

When one is in a state of anger, the opposite person also will react in anger or at least seethe within, in anger. Anger influences anger. Therefore, if one is in a state of anger, the opposite person should be in safe and secure Mudra.

This Mudra will cool down one (by activating the water element) and stabilise the person (earth element) as well.
